Guidelines for Article Submission

• Authors of articles submitted to the Small Business Resource Center must be members of the Branford Chamber of Commerce.
• Articles should be no longer than 500 words.
• Please include a headline for your article.
• Include a by-line that lists your name, company name, and the town in which you do business.
• Content should be informational or educational, not self-promotional.
• When possible, please avoid content that may be dated in nature or information that may not be applicable within a short time-frame.
• Include sources for quoted information and cite references with publication name, author name and date of publication.
• Articles should be submitted via email or on disk in Microsoft Word, or in a text-only format. We cannot accept graphics at this time.
• All submissions must pass through an editorial review by the Chamber's Communication Committee. Any revisions will be reviewed with and signed off  by the author before publication.

Articles submitted to the Small Business Resource Center will be distributed in print and on the Chamber's web site, www.branfordct.com.
