- To participate in educational and developmental opportunities such as workshops and seminars on relevant topics related to nonprofit organizations .
- Marketing opportunities for nonprofit members include use of bulk mailings and email blasts as well as nonprofits own “micro site/landing page” with their own content control.
- Have available a voluntary ad hoc “Board of Advisors” to assist with challenges, problems or just as “sounding board” for new ideas.
- Participate as an advocate within the Chamber for nonprofit issues.

| The next meeting of the Branford Chamber Nonprofit Council will be Thursday, February 9, 2012, from 8 am to 9:30 am at the Blackstone Library, 758 Main St. Branford, CT Sarah Fabish, Director of Grants & Scholarships of the Community Foundation of Greater New Haven will be speaking about CFGNH, the grant application and process, and related discussion. Please plan to attend so we can get a broad range of ideas possible areas of collaboration. We are hoping to build on the momentum we established in 2011 and have a well-attended, productive meeting.
